What you’ll do

As a sales planner, you will assist the sales organization meet its revenue goals. You will report to the VP of Sales and support the sales team during the pre-sale process by assembling proposals and revisions. You will gain a detailed understanding of our company’s capabilities and be responsible to coordinate internal stakeholders and develop winning proposals.  

Your responsibilities:

  • Respond to RFPs and meet delivery deadlines
  • Partner with the Sales team to deliver value for customers through pre-sale & post sale tasks by assisting the Sales Directors, Creative Studio, Account Managers and Ad Operations
  • Manage the pre-sales process by developing thoughtful strategies & executing. Including: Strategy sessions with sales, responding to RFIs and handling all RFPs, revisions and Insertion Orders.
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned

Who you are

You understand the core concepts behind marketing, digital advertising, and the role of demand-side platforms within programmatic media. You are a strategic thinker who possesses excellent written communication skills and a positive attitude. You value constructive feedback and take full ownership of your job. 

What you need

  • 3-5+ years of digital media strategy,  planning, or buying at a media agency, programmatic trading desk, AdTech platform, or direct brand
  • Excellent knowledge of the digital media ecosystem
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and Slides (or MS Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Extremely self-motivated, attention to detail, and desire to deliver results
  • BA or BS degree required (advertising or marketing degree preferred)

Bonus if you have

  • Direct experience in sales planning or account management at a publisher, SSP, or DSP
  • Familiarity with project management and software training disciplines
